What will you be doing?
Weʼre looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer to join Agoyaʼs engineering team in our HQ in Belgium. As
part of Agoya, you will deliver cloud and DevOps work on client environments, collaborating closely with
our internal team while working alongside the clientʼs development and operations teams.
Agoya is looking for a long-term colleague who wants to grow with us, contribute to our engineering culture,
and build lasting impact across some exciting internal and external projects. In the short future youʼll help
our client in the event industry in Brussels, with the opportunity to contribute to other engagements over
time.
Responsibilities

You will manage and develop public cloud infrastructure, including VMs, Kubernetes clusters, IAM
-
You will contribute to development of DevOps on the organisational and technical level , CICD pipelines and observability.

You will assist system administrators and application developers in troubleshooting incidents.
Are you the one?
What we are looking for:
-
You have a deep understanding of the basic stack of at least one Cloud provider, such as GCP, Azure or AWS: including IAM, and container solutions.

You have a good grasp of Linux VM system administration.

You are proficient in at least one programming and scripting language such as Python to automate your work, and are able to troubleshoot and debug applications.

You like to work in a team and communicate your progress, synchronously and asynchronously.

You are proactive and can work largely independently.

You have an eagerness to learn new technologies and can mentor more junior team members .

You have around 3 years experience in a similar role.

You speak fluent English and one of the Belgian natural language (Dutch and/or French).
You'll score points with these:
-
Experience in Google Cloud Platform .

Experience in CI/CD and GitOps.

You are proficient in Terraform, Helm and Kubernetes. Other frameworks like Ansible are a plus.

Experience working with web servers such as NGINX or Apache.

Experience managing, designing and optimising relational SQL databases such as Postgres, MySQL.
